Run by Jen from Quay Kinetics, these physio ante and post natal classes are designed to help prepare your body for childbirth and ensure it stays strong and fit once you have a newborn! The classes are unique because they are delivered by a fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapists so expert guidance and instruction is guaranteed throughout, helping remove the fear women have about exercising during pregnancy and after they have had their baby. The programme spans over 4 distinct sessions, each building on the skills and exercises in the previous one. The focus is on the core muscles of the stomach, back and pelvis, which helps with the following: improved posture during and after pregnancy, reduction in pre and post pregnancy conditions such as stress incontinence and pelvic girdle pain, improved sexual satisfaction! and general health and well being.
