we've been working hard to keep the media up to speed with all the developments at the Quay and have had great support from the local press, radio and news/TV stations. Our Centre Manager finally received his '15 minutes of fame' (well 2 minnutes 19 seconds to be precise), featuring on ITV's Westcountry News on 22nd September. Click here for the ITV IPlayer link - we had some great coverage and some fantastic comments from the climbers in the centre. Luck was in our favour as Dick Passmore, a local historian and friend of the Quay, popped in during filming and was able to give some historical colour to the piece, taking about the building itself and the role it played in the city during the early part of the 20th Century.
We've had lots of great coverage in the regional press during October. Chris Sharma's visit to the centre attracted attention from Heart FM, Exeter FM and the Express where Fran wrote yet another great article. This follows on Fran's coverage earlier in the month of the centre opening and her first climb at the centre.
